Wedding/Mariage at La Vieille Brasserie in Lachine – K+A
Kelsey and Andrew said Yes I Do last fall at the Vieille Brasserie in Lachine. It was the end of September and the weather was really nice. Firstly, the bride and groom wanted to have a big party. A gathering of all their loved ones for a «family style dinner». They booked la Vieille Brasserie for the convenience of bringing your own catering service. And the possibility of having your ceremony at the same place as the reception was something they loved. So I started the afternoon by going to Kelsey’s place, where she was getting prepared with her bridesmaids. I must say I was in love with the bride’s dress from La Jolie Robe in Vaudreuil-Dorion. The girls were so happy and excited for the bride to be, time there flew by so fast.
Ceremony by the sea
Celebrated by one of their friends, the ceremony was right outside on the Vieille Brasserie’s terrasse. Facing the Canal Lachine, it was beautiful and lovely. And maxed out with friends and family. The bride and groom exchange of vows was moving and contained a lot of laughter. For their special day, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect weather at the end of September. It felt like summer, without the extreme heat but with the beautiful light of early fall.
Following the group picture, the bridal party stayed with us near the water. The Vieille Brasserie was the perfect decor to take pictures with the group, since the Canal Lachine was very sunny. I certainly favor the beautiful light on people rather than the decor behind. I think by seeing the pictures, you can guess we had a lot of fun!
Wedding reception at la Vieille Brasserie
The evening promised to be festive and it was not disappointing, since everyone was so happy to be there. The bride and groom were surrounded with love. There were a lot of speeches, but each one was as touching and funny as the last one. The dj for the evening was Jo from Goldstar Entertainment and he was soooo good. I really liked him!
The first dance was to the remake of «Hey Ya!» by The Blanks, originally from Outkast! It was touching!
Finally, the day (and the evening) was perfect! I was so happy to be the one documenting their big day. Coordinator : Morgane from Agence Aurea
