Golf Royal Bromont Wedding in Estrie

It was at the Golf Royal Bromont in Estrie that Stéphanie and Mathieu got married last fall. Their wedding, one of my favorites of 2023, was just perfect. What did I like about my day with them? First, the kindness and attentiveness of the bride and groom, the many laughs, their very nice procession, the bride and groom's family as well who did not just treat us as "suppliers", my assistant and I. The weather was superb, not too hot, even though it was early September. I also appreciated the fact that they took time for themselves, to be alone together (for their official photos) and not to stress before returning to the Club House. Where their guests were gathered for the cocktail. Finally, I liked the beauty of the Golf Royal Bromont site highlighted with the ceremony.
So I started the day by going to join them at the'Vallea Hotel in Bromont where Stéphanie and Mathieu had a room, next door to each other. It works so well like this, when the couple gets ready in the same place. Because if there is a delay, I can go to the other room to take care of it haha. Exactly, when I arrived at the bride's room, she was not there yet. There was a slight delay for the hair so one of her bridesmaids welcomed us, my assistant and me. I photographed her beautiful accessories: her dress bought at Yes I want it, her shoes and the beautiful flowers from Bromewood Florist, also in Bromont.

Outdoor ceremony at Golf Royal Bromont
The outdoor ceremony, led by a friend of the couple as well as an accredited celebrant, was directly on the golf course. A beautiful ceremony in the image of the bride and groom, moving and funny at the same time. Personalized from beginning to end. One of their friends even sang accompanied by the musicians hired for the occasion. I was a little worried about the sun a little before the ceremony. While there was a few minutes delay, it went to hide behind the clouds. Letting appear a beautiful light of early September, perfect for taking photos from all angles. The sun made a brief reappearance a little later during the ceremony.
So you don't have to worry if it's cloudy for an outdoor ceremony. This creates the ideal conditions for beautiful photos: the bride and groom don't grimace in the sun and they're not dazzled. Also, the guests don't die of heat. And sometimes it happens that some of the guests are in the sun and the others in the shade. So it looks less balanced in the photos. In short, the temperature was PERFECT!

Couple photos during Golden Hour at Royal Bromont Golf Club
The family photos were taken right after the group photo. It was particularly moving for me because every time I see the bride and groom's grandparents, I think of mine and I often come with tears in my eyes because I miss them... We then left in a kart to explore the golf course with the newlyweds. I then realized that it was almost golden hour. The light was just too beautiful, soft and hushed.

I left the bride and groom early in the evening because their priority was for me to immortalize the important moments of the day in photos and to have a printed book as a souvenir. The guests were going to take care of the photos in the evening. In short, we had a lot of fun together and I loved everything about their choices. Besides, I am very grateful to them for choosing me for their wedding!
