Why hire a professional wedding photographer?
Why choose a professional wedding photographer? First, because your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event! Second, I would say that talent and experience are essential for a day that is unique and cannot be repeated! The talent to capture beauty, to create original compositions, to evoke emotions through images. As a Montreal-based wedding photographer, I travel throughout Quebec. I love creating vibrant photos that will age beautifully and timeless images for the bride and groom. My style is a blend of authentic, vibrant photographs that truly represent you!
My experience is certainly the first thing I have to offer you before your wedding day. And then, consistency would be the second thing, I would say. Consistency in my approach, in my photographic style, and in my photo editing. Finding solutions to unforeseen circumstances is something I also excel at.
Yet, people still sometimes hesitate between asking a friend/uncle Bob or hiring a wedding photographer (that's me!) when it comes to thinking about photos. While being there where you need to be, when you need to be, at the right time and being consistent, these are great qualities of a wedding photographer. Me for example? I anticipate emotional moments by creating unforgettable images. In fact, I am there when you least expect it. I am also there to accompany you through the entire wedding process: the "before" the big day, the preparation of the wedding. And why choose a wedding photographer rather than a photographer who does a little bit of everything?
Because it's impossible to specialize in all types of photos. For example, I probably wouldn't be very good at aerial photography (plus I'm afraid of heights, we're off to a bad start haha)... or a sports photography specialist won't necessarily be good at taking all the pictures you're hoping for at your big event. Also, a wedding day goes by soooo quickly and is a lot of stress to manage. And then someone who is not used to this will have difficulty remembering everything they have to photograph and will forget certain important things to capture. Because after all, what's left of your dream day and the time invested in it if not memories and photos?
