A wedding at Grand Manitou Mont Tremblant summit and chapelle St-Bernard

Cynthia and Luc’s wedding reception was at the Grand Manitou Mont-Tremblant summit this summer. It was a hot but beautiful day. The views at the top of the mountain were STUNNING! I’ve never seen something quite like this before : mountains everywhere. But first things first haha… they got ready separately at Sommet des Neiges in the pedestrian village of Mont-Tremblant. The bride and groom were so happy, surrounded with their family and good friends. Living in Florida, it was actually the first time I met with them on their wedding day!

The Chapelle Saint-Bernard

Cynthia and Luc were really looking forward for their big day. Luc, a native of Quebec city, moved years ago in Florida. The couple fell in love in 2012 after Cynthia moved in Luc’s neighborhood in Boynton Beach. They hung out several time before quickly falling in love with each other. Both of them enjoy life and love the outdoors! After seeing the beauty of the Laurentians and realizing it was both English/French they knew it was going to be perfect. They wanted to get married in Mont-Tremblant at the top of the mountain! But before that, they had to find a church. And they did when they fell in love (again) with the Chapelle Saint-Bernard!

Hotel Quintessence in Mont-Tremblant

After the beautiful ceremony, we took a few pictures in front of the chapel. We went on to go at Hotel Quintessence which is located a few minutes away from the church (by walk). They were so nice to let us take pictures besides lake Tremblant. It started pouring rain, we went inside the hotel and saw the wonderful staircase at the entrance! There was no way I was going to leave without taking a few photos!

Cocktail time was great with the terrace overlooking the village. We left the hotel and took the cable car to go on Tremblant’s summit. The VIEWS! What’s to say about the views? They were INCREDIBLE! Breathtaking views on the Laurentians! So beautiful! I almost went nuts hahaha! When arriving at the Grand Manitou, we took a few photos with guests and families. Cynthia and Luc were so nice and trusted me when I told them we needed to take some more pictures of them alone. After all, the day belongs to them! And how about those memories we’ve created! I will never forget that day. The light, the newlyweds, the mountains. Such perfection! And shout out to Luc’s brothers for being so helpful! They were chasing flies away from me when we were on top of Tremblant haha! They got out before sunset and were really loving me (the flies)!

Un mariage au Vieux Moulin à Rigaud

Cela faisait un petit moment que j’entendais parler du Vieux Moulin à Rigaud sans jamais y avoir été encore! J’y avais vu plusieurs mariages là-bas et je trouvais l’endroit tellement beau! Et quel coup de coeur j’ai eu pour ce lieu MAGNIFIQUE! C’est immense en plus! Il y a tellement d’endroits pour faire des photos! J’ai rencontré Andrelle et Matthew à l’automne 2018 afin de parler de leur journée. Aussi, j’étais bien contente d’apprendre que leur mariage se déroulerait au complet sur le site enchanteur! De plus, étant des personnes matinales et voulant faire différent, le beau couple a choisi la formule brunch/diner. Ils ont aussi opté pour ne pas avoir de photos de préparations. Andrelle préférait des photos de la décoration (faite principalement par eux) et du Vieux Moulin, avant que les invités arrivent. La célébration était touchante et à leur image. J’ai particulièrement aimé leur célébrant, Michel Demers de FSEV!

Un brunch au Vieux Moulin à Rigaud

Tout de suite après la cérémonie, il y a eu un cocktail avec quelques bouchées. J’avais conseillé aux mariés de faire les photos de couple en dernier, pour profiter de la belle lumière de fin d’après-midi. Car on va se le dire, faire des photos à midi, ce n’est vraiment pas l’idéal haha! Étant végétaliens, Andrelle et Matthew tenaient absolument à ce que le repas soit végane et tout était EXCELLENT! En particulier la très belle table de desserts réalisée par Sophie Sucrée!

Séance fiançailles au Jardin Botanique

Quelques semaines avant le mariage, j’avais revus Andrelle et Matthew pour une séance fiançailles. C’était très important pour eux, se disant pas très à l’aise devant la caméra. Nous nous sommes donc rencontrés au Jardin Botanique pour une petite pratique avant-mariage. Et le résultat final leur a donné super hâte de faire les photos de couple au mariage! Ils ne se sentaient plus »ackwards » ou mal-à-l’aise tout d’un coup. Les amoureux ont apprécié le moment et se sont laissés aller!

Je dois dire que j’adore leurs photos, j’ai eu de la difficulté à choisir parmi celles-ci pour le blog. Et que dire de la robe d’Andrelle (achetée chez Dream it Yourself)! C’est comme si la robe avait été conçue pour elle! Curieux/curieuse de voir quelques photos de fiançailles du joli couple? Allez faire un tour sur mon portfolio fiançailles, pour voir des photos prises au Jardin Botanique. En plein dans le temps des lilas!

Un mariage d’hiver au Vieux-Port Steakhouse

Mariage d'hiver dans le Vieux-Port de Montréal

Avant même d’arrêter son choix sur le Vieux-Port Steakhouse dans le Vieux-Montréal, Sara m’avait laissé savoir son intérêt pour mon travail! C’est tellement flatteur! Elle et Jeff se sont mariés à la fin février de cette année alors que ça ne faisait pas encore un an qu’ils étaient ensemble! S’étant rencontrés via un site Internet de rencontres, ils ont automatiquement eu le coup de foudre en faisant connaissance. Et ils sont tellement beaux à voir ensemble! Ils forment un couple fabuleux, tellement gentils, généreux et relaxes! Lorsque je les ai vus chez moi la première fois, à la fin de la rencontre j’ai dit à Sara : «je t’aime déjà!» Hahaha, j’en reviens pas encore d’avoir dit ça!

Les amoureux ont décidé de se préparer non loin l’un de l’autre dans le Vieux-Port. Jeff se préparant au SpringHill Suites de l’hôtel Marriott et Sara au Lofts du Vieux-Port situé à proximité de l’Auberge St-Gabriel. La lumière descendant rapidement en hiver, on a décidé de faire un first look et ce fut parfait!

Cérémonie au Vieux-Port Steakhouse

Entourés de leurs familles et amis, Sara et Jeff se sont dit OUI dans une des magnifiques salles du Vieux-Port Steakhouse. C’était beau, intime, drôle, à leur image!

Le cortège de Jeff et Sara était constitué de : neuf demoiselles d’honneur, trois garçons d’honneur et trois «groomsmaids» comme j’aimais les appelées haha! Jeff tenait absolument à inclure ses trois bonnes amies!

J’ai eu du temps pour faire des photos des deux magnifiques salles qui étaient réservées pour leur réception, ayant beaucoup d’invités. C’était chaleureux, décoré avec bon goût et un peu rustique/vieillot. J’aime les salles qui ont du caractère, qui ont du vécu! Mais j’aime aussi beaucoup le moderne en même temps! Les mariés étaient entre bonnes mains en choisissant le Vieux-Port Steakhouse, Mylène (la Maître D) étant une perle!
